Political parties and voting

I want political parties to be removed from the voting picture. I voted on the primaries or whatever and I hated that I could not choose candidates that were outside of my political party. I thought that was stupid. I don't think that we should be forced to choose a party to vote. Since what you get to vote about is chosen by your party I don't necessarily think its really a fair vote. Everyone should be able to vote on everything. I am stuck with Republican but really I am not any political party.

so I propose we do away with political party picking for voters,
